Rear interior compartment pre-sense package

The safety package includes a selection of functions that increase safety and comfort in the rear seat. Side airbags in the rear, as a supplement to the front side airbags and the curtain airbag system, offer additional protection for rear-seat passengers. The reversible belt tensioners at the rear are an addition to the reversible belt tensioners at the front of Audi pre sense basic. In the event of emergency and danger braking and in dynamic driving situations, in addition to the measures contained in Audi pre sense basic, preventive tightening of the seat belts is initiated in order to reduce front or side displacement of the passengers in the rear.
